Welcome to Finding Peace, designed to help you find more peace and happiness in your life.

I’ve always been interested in psychology and self-development and as part of this journey I encountered therapy and then general spirituality. Writing about something helps me develop understanding and over time this has developed into this site, my book Finding Peace and ultimately becoming a mindfulness meditation teacher.

The site is divided into several sections, including:

Finding Peace – a book based on my own experiences and realisations available to purchase or download in Kindle format. If you’ve ever wondered whether there is more to life or have started on a spiritual, psychological or healing journey, you’ll recognise the themes in Finding Peace. I’m a traveller alongside you and it’s good to have a companion for the journey.
Personal Support – I am a trained teacher of Mindfulness Meditation from Mindfulness Now and have also trained in other therapies.
Articles – these provide general information on a range of topics related to spirituality and their psychological aspects.
Resources – my journey has taken me into all sorts of areas and I’ve often wondered where to go next and how to find out more. If you’ve ever felt the same way, this part will provide a guide to many of the books and resources that have helped me, perhaps they can help you too.

My journey has involved learning more about Buddhist principles but Finding Peace is non-religious and designed for those of all faiths and none. I have a sister site called Buddhist Thoughts – http://www.buddhist-thoughts.co.uk/ which has articles and resources designed for those who want to know more about Buddhism specifically and how the principles behind it can assist us.
